We are desperate! My husband and I have six bueatiful children and have always been able to provide for them without any help. We do drywall and paint and it has been good to us until now. After hurricane rita hit work exploded but so did the immigrant population and tons of people from out of state looking for construction work. With the area flooded with so many, prices dropped dramatically and we have steadily dropped ours in a desperate attempt to keep our rent paid and groceries on the table. Admiting defeat has been extremely difficult but here we are selling our tools for grocery money. My husband has a solid job offer in his hometown but it is a ten hour drive from here. It may as well be a million. We are struggling with groceries, utilities and rent, moving that far flat broke with the kids and no place to go when we do get there makes even a good job offer sound like fairytale. We just need to be able to get to to our second chance, we'll take it from there. Any help is apprecieated more than you can imagine.
